Internet Commenter Business Meeting

Posted on Sunday, April 27, 2008 in Ramblings

Mahaha, that pretty much defines all comments on just about any semi-popular social networking or video site … ever. Sometimes the best laughs are from reading the comments on a any random topic just to see the hilarious back-and-forths amongst the idiots (aka. everyone on the internet [yes, i see the irony in that]).

I’ve fallen victim to another trend that people are calling “LifeStreams”. Basically just a fancy little list someone’s activity across various sites, all into one centralized location.

I’ve tossed a quick little concept on my “About Me” page if you’re interested (because it’s just OH SO exciting :P ).

Good Ole 4-20 Day

Posted on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Ramblings

Your Brain On ...

So that was my semi-retarded yet slightly amusing comic for today. I had to put something up with drugs on it because … I mean, it is 4-20 afterall.

Drama is still ensuing at my old high school. Seems that the current principal feels justified in attempting to fire off the best of the faculty and then threaten students in numerous ways if they talk about it to anyone. Sounds like Big Brother in modern times (again).

Song of the day is from Relient K, What Have You Been Doing Lately

Life is good. ;)

Wright or Wrong

Posted on Friday, April 18, 2008 in Ramblings

I’m sure you’ve all at least seen part of the soundbite of Reverend Wright making some interesting statements, but like everything else that anyone finds slightly disturbing, they replay a 10 second clip until you hate someone. We’ve all said interesting things that would sound horrible if repeated constantly for days on end.

I read a comment that someone left that amused me.

The camera never panned so you could see the sheet over the reporter’s head.

Fox news is known for … I guess the approriate word would be bigoted stance on matters and how they portray stories. It seems for you to get a job there as a reporter you agree to be a slave to the utter ignorance of America.

Way to go Faux News!

One ISN’T The Loniest Number

Posted on Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Ramblings

(it’s actually PI) …

One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do
Two can be as bad as one
It’s the loneliest number since the number one

pi is the loneliest number

3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510

I can remember pi to 9 places … but professors think you’re silly if you go any further than 3.14 … not to mention you might even get the answers wrong because “you didn’t round” … irony is grand.

My song of the day is “Breakfast” by Newsboys:

The chorus is the funniest (and coolest) part of the song.

When the toast is burned
and all the milk has turned
and Captain Crunch is waving farewell
When the Big One finds you may this song remind you
That they don’t serve breakfast in Hell.

Sunsets are God’s gift to us … a way of making us smile just by ending the day with a bit of majestic art.

the sun setting at Cane Creek Park this Thursday

the sun setting at cane creek park thursday

driving to Nashville yesterday while the sun peeks through the clouds

sun setting on the way to nashville

On a side note: the movie There WIll Be Blood is rather boring … i’ve been “watching” it for an hour now and still don’t see why i’m still watching it … that sounds confusing… lol
