Back From Cali

Posted on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

And it was grrrrreaaat!
I have so say, I will definitely miss the California climate. It only got up to about 80 degrees the whole time we were there and stayed closer to 75 with a nice cool breeze and next to no humidity at all – perfection.
What few pictures I took (compared to Guy at […]

Decrypt nested eval gzinflate str_rot13 base64_decode

Posted on Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

So I went ahead and wrote a script to undo massively nested eval(gzinflate(str_rot13(base64_decode(‘STRING’)))); and eval(gzinflate(base64_decode(‘STRING’))); “encryptions” with a multitude of both of them inside it. The string from the original footer here had to go through 67 different iterations before it got to the real source code (talk about overkill).
If you have strings that aren’t […]

One ISN’T The Loniest Number

Posted by josh on Saturday, April 12th, 2008

(it’s actually PI) …

One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do
Two can be as bad as one
It’s the loneliest number since the number one

pi is the loneliest number

3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510

I can remember pi to 9 places … but professors think you’re silly if you go any further than 3.14 … not to mention you might even get the answers wrong because “you didn’t round” … irony is grand.

My song of the day is “Breakfast” by Newsboys:

The chorus is the funniest (and coolest) part of the song.

When the toast is burned
and all the milk has turned
and Captain Crunch is waving farewell
When the Big One finds you may this song remind you
That they don’t serve breakfast in Hell.

Sunsets are God’s gift to us … a way of making us smile just by ending the day with a bit of majestic art.

the sun setting at Cane Creek Park this Thursday

the sun setting at cane creek park thursday

driving to Nashville yesterday while the sun peeks through the clouds

sun setting on the way to nashville

On a side note: the movie There WIll Be Blood is rather boring … i’ve been “watching” it for an hour now and still don’t see why i’m still watching it … that sounds confusing… lol

If you ever go to a Newsboys concert, bring a box of Captain Crunch. When they sign the chorus of Breakfast, everyone throws handfuls of captain crunch in the air and then eventually empty boxes. It gets messy.
